- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cups cooked white or brown rice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add diced bell peppers and onion to the skillet. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until softened.
- Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic powder, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add cooked rice to the skillet and mix thoroughly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve in bowls, garnish with green onions, and enjoy!
